Porsche Museum
A display of the evolution of Porsche road cars begins with a 1948 356/2 coupe, one of the 52 cars the budding firm built virtually by hand in Gmünd, Austria. In 1950, the firm moved to Stuttgart.

While Porsche expects more than 200,000 museum visitors each year, it hopes the facility can make money through other means as well. The lower level features a coffee bar, a sandwich shop, and a museum store. The third floor has room for events such as concerts, lectures, and film presentations. The upper level also has a high-end restaurant called Christophorus.

The Porsche Museum is located at Porscheplatz, D-70435, Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, Germany. It is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is a charge for admission. Additional information can be had by calling the museum at +49 (0) 1805 356 911 or by visiting www.porsche.com/museum.
