Lexus RX 450h

Despite a larger engine (3.5-liter V6 vs. 3.3) and more weight, the RX beat its Toyota sibling in the EPA tests. In a 160-mile test drive, an RX 450h returned 31.0 mpg in a 50/50 city/highway mix on the recommended premium-grade fuel, so the impressive EPA numbers seem to be in line with reality.
Furthermore, the RX is a true luxury SUV, with all the trappings expected in this class.
