The reality of this minicar's future in the U.S. is largely dependent on alliance talks between Fiat and Chrysler. Should the 500 make its way to our shores, it could rival the Mini Cooper in the retro-cuteness department, though it's smaller and will likely be more fuel efficient.

The 2-door, 4-passenger hatchback, currently on sale in Europe, should ride on a 90.6-inch wheelbase and could achieve close to 40 mpg on the highway.
