Cool to look at, fun to drive, and space efficient, Chevy’s compact vanlet offers a compelling blend of style and utility. There’s plenty of space for four full-size adults, or an enormous amount of dorm-room detritus.
Sure, the base engine falls just shy of sporty, but less is more when it comes to performance and young drivers. HHR makes up for its lack of gusto with suspension tuning that errs on the side of agile, but still makes for comfortable long-haul driving. Cabin appointments are a little on the basic side, but at HHR prices it’s tough to complain.
