2009 Infiniti G37 Convertible

2009 Infiniti G37 Convertible
This spring, Infiniti added a hardtop convertible model to its already winning lineup of G37 coupes and sedans. The midsize convertible can seat four (when the backseat isn’t covered by the optional windscreen) and retains the coupe's sleek styling. It shares its siblings’ brawny 325-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 and 7-speed automatic transmission.

The hardtop, a clamshell design that nests in three pieces in the trunk, can be lowered or raised via a console-mounted button in 28 seconds. Other convertible-unique features include a surround-sound system with headrest-mounted speakers and cooled front seats. Top up or down, the convertible has an impressively rigid body structure and exhibits only a minimal degree of cowl shake over larger bumps and during fast cornering.

Prices haven’t yet been announced, but look for the convertible at dealerships later this month. Click here to read our full review of the 2009 Infiniti G37 convertible.
