Other HCD-10 Hellion elements include flowing body contours, big tires within bulging wheelarches, and a V-shaped liftgate window flanked by ear-like taillamps. A "camo print" treatment adorns the roof and upholstery.
Sized close to a two-door Jeep Wrangler, the Hellion, like most concepts, is strictly a trial balloon. But if L.A. showgoers approve, something like it could join the Hyundai lineup in the not-too-distant future. Intriguingly, the Hellion is powered by a 236-hp 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine with a thumping 332 lb-ft of torque.
