All Sebring convertible tops include standard power operation, a heated glass rear window, and availability with base, Touring and top-shelf Limited trim. Powertrains and front-end sheetmetal are shared with the redesigned 2007 Sebring sedans, but the two-door drop-tops seat four instead of five and have their own three-inch-longer rear body section to provide acceptable cargo space.

Chrysler says the trunks carry two regular golf bags top-down and four top-up. Also claimed are spectacular improvements in structural rigidity--admittedly not a strong point of past Sebring convertibles--with a 245-percent gain in resistance to twisting and 125-percent in bending. We'll let you know how that feels once we get behind the wheel.
