The New York show is the oldest in the United States. Since New York is the news capital of the nation, its auto show is all about media exposure. All of the major TV and radio networks as well as prominent print outlets give this show extensive coverage. That makes it very important for each manufacturer to have some sort of presence. Sadly, sometimes this means more flash than substance. But this year was a little different as several manufacturers took the opportunity to introduce significant volume vehicles.
