The 2012 Toyota RAV4 EV is a new all-electric vehicle from this Japanese automaker. Based on the company's compact SUV, little is known at this point about the battery pack, electric motor, and charging time. Toyota officials estimate a driving range of 100 miles in most climates and a projected curb weight just 200 pounds more than a comparable RAV4 equipped with a V6 engine.
