2010 lincoln mkt
The 2010 Lincoln MKT is the newest addition to the brand's lineup.

Ford’s mojo is not just working for the cars, trucks, and SUVs that bear the blue-oval badge. The company’s Lincoln and Mercury divisions also have products that get some fairly significant changes and upgrades for the 2010 model year. New powertrain technologies and luxury-oriented features highlight these two brands. Note that models not mentioned here see minor trim or otherwise no significant changes.

2010 Lincoln MKS: Lincoln’s flagship sedan offers Ford’s new EcoBoost engine. Branded as having the power of a V8 with the fuel economy of a V6, EcoBoost is a 355-horsepower turbocharged 3.5-liter V6. It pairs with a 6-speed automatic transmission. MKS models equipped with this engine have all-wheel drive and are available with an option package that includes unique interior and exterior trim and 20-inch chrome wheels.

2010 Lincoln MKT: The latest addition to Lincoln’s portfolio is a seven-passenger crossover SUV that shares elements of its basic design with the Ford Flex. It comes in two trim levels, the front- or all-wheel-drive Base with a 270-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 engine, and the AWD EcoBoost with a 355-horsepower turbocharged 3.5-liter V6. Standard luxury features include leather upholstery, heated and cooled front seats, a power tilt and telescopic steering column, and power-adjustable pedals. Pricing ranges from $44,200 for the front-drive Base to $49,200 for the AWD EcoBoost.

2010 Lincoln MKZ: Lincoln’s entry-level sedan gets revised interior and exterior styling. A new Sport Appearance Package includes specific trim, a sport suspension, and 18-inch wheels. Also newly available is blind-spot alert with Ford’s Cross Traffic Alert, which activates when the transmission is in reverse; it detects any traffic moving toward the vehicle.

2010 Mercury Mariner: This compact crossover SUV gains an optional “Active Park Assist” feature, which uses ultrasonic sensors to help automatically guide the vehicle into a parallel-parking space.

2010 Mercury Milan: Like the Ford Fusion with which it shares its basic design, Mercury’s midsize Milan sedan gets similar changes for 2010. These include freshened exterior and interior styling, more 4-cylinder and V6 power, a new gas/electric Hybrid model, and new features. Conventional Milans are available with either a 175-horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder or a 240-horsepower 3.0-liter V6 engine. Hybrids team a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with an electric motor for 191 horsepower total. Some of the new features include blind-spot alert and Ford’s Cross Traffic Alert.
