2010 Ford Transit Connect
The Ford Transit Connect comes to the U.S. as a 2010 model and is mainly intended for the commercial market.

The Transit Connect is Ford’s only new model for 2010, but the company has not been idle, making major revisions to several of its existing lines. Taurus is redesigned and Flex introduces the new EcoBoost engine that promises high performance with reasonable fuel economy. Expect to see EcoBoost spread to other models in coming years. Ford has also added several high-tech safety features. Note that models not mentioned here see minor trim or otherwise no significant changes.

2010 Ford Escape: Ford's compact SUV now offers Active Park Assist, which uses ultrasonic sensors to help automatically guide the vehicle into a parallel-parking space. Also new for Escape and some other Ford models is MyKey which allows owners to program a key that can limit the vehicle's top speed and audio volume.

2010 Ford F-150: This large pickup truck gains an
off-road-performance Raptor model with modified suspension and a significantly wider track. Later in the model year, a 400-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine will be offered along with Raptor’s standard 320-horse 5.4-liter V8. After a year’s absence, the Harley-Davidson edition returns to the F-150 line. The Harley F-150 has unique interior and exterior trim with a sport suspension.

2010 Ford Flex: Ford’s seven-seat crossover midsize SUV gains an EcoBoost 355-horsepower turbocharged 3.5-liter V6--a 93-horsepower boost over the standard Flex V6. The tilt steering column gains a telescopic function.

2010 Ford Fusion:
This midsize car gets a mid-cycle revamp that includes more power and freshened styling. A 175-horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder replaces a 160-horsepower 2.3-liter 4-cylinder, and 3.0-liter V6 horsepower climbs from 221 to 240. Fusion also gains a gas/electric hybrid model. The newly available blind-spot alert helps lane changing, while Cross Traffic Alert, which activates when the transmission is in reverse, detects any traffic moving behind the vehicle.

2010 Ford Mustang: This sporty/performance car also gets a mid-cycle revision that includes tweaked styling, an upgraded interior, and retuned suspension. The GT’s 315-horsepower 4.6-liter V8 is up 15 horses from '09.

2010 Ford Ranger: This compact pickup gains traction control, an antiskid system, and side airbags. The off-road FX4 model has been discontinued and the 7-foot-bed version is now only available to fleet buyers.

2010 Ford Taurus: Ford’s large sedan gets redesigned for 2010. A high-performance SHO model returns to the Taurus lineup for the first time since 1999. It features Ford’s EcoBoost 355-horsepower turbocharged 3.5-liter V6, all-wheel drive, sport suspension, and unique styling. New safety features include MyKey, blind-spot alert, Cross Traffic Alert, and SOS Post-Crash Alert which unlocks the doors, sounds the horn, and activates the emergency flashers in the event of an air bag deployment.

2010 Ford Transit Connect: Familiar in many worldwide markets, Transit Connect is new to North America. This compact van shares a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with the Focus compact car. A high roof allows the van to have impressive cargo capacity for its size. Most Transit Connects will be sold to the commercial market in cargo van form, but it is also available with two rows of seating for the consumer market.
