2010 Cadillac SRX
Cadillac's SRX is redesigned for 2010.

With its government-managed bankruptcy now a bittersweet memory, General Motors soldiers on as a smaller, leaner corporation. With four “core” brands, rather than eight, GM officials hope to be able to better manage product-development resources.

Model-year 2010 is one of transition for the company’s flagship Cadillac division, with one vehicle seeing a complete redesign, another adding a new body style, and others getting little more than packaging changes. Note that models not mentioned here see minor trim or otherwise no significant changes.

2010 Cadillac CTS: The CTS Sport Wagon joins the sedan as a new addition to Cadillac’s most popular car line. A 270-horsepower 3.0-liter V6 replaces a 263-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 as the new standard engine. A 304-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 remains optional.

2010 Cadillac Escalade:
This premium large SUV’s 6.2-liter V8 engine gains GM’s Active Fuel Management cylinder deactivation system.

2010 Cadillac SRX: Cadillac’s midsize crossover SUV is redesigned. About 5 inches shorter in wheelbase and overall length than the 2004-2009 SRX, the 2010 version seats five. A 265-horsepower 3.0-liter V6 engine is standard, and a turbocharged 300-horsepower 2.8-liter V6 will be optional later in the model year. Among the available features are a navigation system, DVD entertainment, heated and cooled front seats, and a programmable power tailgate.

2010 Cadillac STS: The high-performance STS-V has been discontinued.
