2010 Acura ZDX
The 2010 ZDX is the second premium midsize SUV in Acura's lineup.

The big news from Honda’s premium brand for the 2010 model year is the addition of a swoopy-styled new premium midsize SUV, the ZDX. Also on tap for model-year 2010 is fresh styling for much of the Acura lineup and powertrain news for MDX, TL, and TSX. Models not mentioned see minor trim or otherwise no significant changes.

2010 Acura MDX: Acura’s 7-passenger premium midsize SUV gets the brand’s new signature grille, more standard features, and a 6-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel mounted paddle shifters. Previously, a 5-speed automatic was the only transmission. The sole powertrain remains a 300-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 engine. Newly standard is Hill Start Assist, a mirror with rearview camera display, and a power tailgate. Newly optional features include real-time weather, a multi-view rear camera that shows you 180 degrees behind the car or an above view of the tow hitch, and Song By Voice--a voice-activated music playback function.

2010 Acura RDX: There’s not a lot of news here, but Acura’s premium compact SUV also gets the new grille for 2010, bringing its styling in line with the rest of the brand’s vehicles. Previously only available with all-wheel drive, a new-for-2010 front-wheel-drive version rounds out the model-year news. The new model starts at $32,520, $2,000 less than the AWD version.

2010 Acura TL: Acura’s top-selling car was redesigned for 2009 and is slated to get a manual transmission for 2010. The base version’s 3.5-liter V6 engine and the SH-AWD model’s 305-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 carry over. A 6-speed manual transmission is newly available on the SH-AWD.

2010 Acura TSX: The brand’s premium compact car adds a V6 model to the lineup. TSX shares its new 280-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 with big brother TL. The 201-horsepower 2.4-liter 4-cylinder carries over unchanged into 2010. The V6 model rides on 18-inch wheels, 1-inch larger than 4-cylinder models. The new V6 TSX starts at $34,850, about $5,500 more than a comparable 4-cylinder TSX.

2010 Acura ZDX: Taking a cue from BMW, Acura is set to release a new premium midsize SUV with a raked, coupe-like profile that bears a resemblance to the German automaker’s X6. The all-wheel drive 4-door wagon seats five passengers and gets power from MDX’s 300-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 engine and 6-speed automatic transmission. First shown in concept guise at the 2009 New York Auto Show, the production ZDX should go on sale later this fall. Though it shares a powertrain with MDX, expect prices to be higher.
