Vehicle Highlights
The 2010 Volkswagen Eos is largely unchanged. Eos seats four and has a power-retractable hardtop that includes an integrated sunroof. The 2010 version reprises Komfort and Lux trim levels, each with a turbocharged 200-hp 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard on Komfort. Optional on those and standard on Lux is a 6-speed automatic. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, and front side airbags. Also standard are automatic rollover bars designed to deploy from behind the rear seats in the event of a tip or collision. Leather upholstery is standard on the Lux. A navigation system is optional and includes a hard drive for storing digital-music files. Rear-obstacle detection and steering-linked bi-xenon headlights are also optional.
