Vehicle Highlights
The 2010 Roush Mustang is a high-performance version of Ford's Mustang "pony car." Roush is an independent company that modifies existing vehicles to such an extent that it becomes the manufacturer of record. The company's 427R models are essentially Mustang GT coupes and convertibles with upgraded suspensions, distinct styling features, and a 435-hp supercharged version of the GT's 4.6-liter V8. Also offered are similar Stage 1 and Stage 2 models in non-supercharged form with the GT's base 315-hp engine. All are available with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, and front side airbags. Other available features include a short-throw shifter for manual-transmission models and a special dealer-installed Roush-tuned exhaust system that is not legal in all 50 states.
