Vehicle Highlights
The 2010 Pontiac G6 lineup is trimmed to a single model. General Motors is phasing out the Pontiac brand, a process scheduled for completion by the end of calendar 2010. G6 comes as a 4-door sedan in a single Base trim level. The coupe and convertible body styles have been discontinued. The standard powertrain teams a 164-hp 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission. A 6-speed automatic is optional. Also optional is a 219-hp 3.5-liter V6 that pairs with a 4-speed automatic. Both engines are capable of running on gasoline or E85 ethanol-blended fuel. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags, and front side airbags. A sunroof and remote engine start are optional. Leather upholstery and heated front seats are available on models equipped with the V6 engine.
