The 2010 Lincoln MKZ gets freshened exterior and interior styling and some new features. This premium midsize sedan has a 263-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine and a choice of front- or all-wheel drive. A 6-speed automatic is the sole transmission. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags, and front side airbags. A new Sport Appearance Package includes a sport suspension, 18-inch wheels, and specific interior and exterior trim. Ford's Sync voice-activated control for cell phones and MP3 players is standard. Newly offered on the 2010 Lincoln MKZ is blind-spot alert. The system also incorporates Ford's "Cross Traffic Alert", which activates when the transmission is in reverse; it detects any traffic moving towards the vehicle. A rearview camera is optional, as is a voice-activated navigation system with real-time traffic alerts and a hard drive for storing digital music files.
