The MKZ is comfortable and pleasant to drive. Unfortunately our test car cost over $42,000 and puts MKZ up against some stiff competition.
John Biel
The MKZ AWD in this test was a pleasant-driving and generally comfortable car. Optioned quite close to the hilt, it topped $43,000 with delivery, which might seem more acceptable in a somewhat-more refined car, so this driver agrees that prudent option choices can improve an MKZ's value-for-the-money picture.
Rick Cotta
MKZ's greatest class asset might be its available AWD, which isn't offered on, for instance, the Lexus ES 350. But when a similar AWD Mercury Milan in the same showroom (or a Fusion at the Ford store) starts at $10,000 less, the MKZ gets very hard to justify.
Tom Appel
If you're sick of seeing Lexus ES 350s everywhere, this could be your car. The Lincoln's cabin is a wee tighter than the Lexus', and its engine a little less polished. Still, aggressive pricing makes this little Linc a compelling ride for the placid motoring crowd.
