Vehicle Highlights
The 2010 Lincoln MKS receives a new engine option following its introduction for the 2009 model year. This premium large car is available with front- or all-wheel drive and shares some of its basic design with the Ford Taurus. Standard on all MKS models is a 275-hp 3.7-liter V6 engine. Available on AWD MKS models is Ford's new "EcoBoost" 355-hp twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6. Both engines use a 6-speed automatic transmission. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags, and front side airbags. Standard is a capless fuel-filler system, which allows owners to fill their fuel tanks without having to remove a gas cap. Also standard is Ford's Sync, which offers voice control for cell phones and MP3 players. Other available features include a voice-activated navigation system with real-time traffic updates, front-obstacle detection, a rearview camera, keyless entry and starting, and adaptive cruise control. Newly optional on the 2010 Lincoln MKS is a system designed to provide hands-free parallel parking.
