Vehicle Highlights
The 2010 GMC Acadia should see no major changes. This crossover SUV shares its basic design with the Chevrolet Traverse, Saturn Outlook, and premium-midsize Buick Enclave. SLE and SLT models should remain available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The only available powertrain should be a 288-hp 3.6-liter V6 engine and 6-speed automatic transmission. Eight-passenger seating will likely remain available, and it comes via a 2nd-row bench seat in place of buckets. Available safety equipment should include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, front side airbags, and curtain side airbags. Available features should include a "skyscape" dual sunroof with a large tilt and slide front panel and a fixed rear glass skylight. Also available should be a wireless cell phone link, heated and cooled front seats, and satellite radio with real-time traffic updates. A rearview camera would likely remain available on any Acadia, whether or not it's equipped with the optional navigation system. This report is based on evaluations of the 2009 GMC Acadia.
