2010 Dodge Sprinter: Overview

The 2010 Dodge Sprinter gets more power and additional features. For 2010, all models use a 185-hp 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6. This replaces a 154-hp turbodiesel V6. It is paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission. Three models are offered: 2500, 2500 cargo extended, and 3500. 2500 is available as a passenger van. 2500 and 3500 are available in standard roof, high roof, or mega roof form, and come in two wheelbases: 144 and 170 inches. The high roof adds 11 inches of interior room and the mega roof adds 19 to the standard roof height of 65 inches. Dual rear wheels are standard on 3500 models. Passenger models have room for up to 12 passengers on rear bench seats with an emergency exit window. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, an antiskid system, front side airbags, and curtain side airbags. Optional equipment includes a heated windshield with rain-sensing wipers, sunroof, front- and rear-obstacle detection, a wireless cell-phone link, and rearview camera. We have not yet tested the 2010 Dodge Sprinter.
