Vehicle Highlights
The 2010 Dodge Avenger gets a slightly revised instrument cluster but otherwise sees no major changes. This midsize sedan shares its basic design with the Chrysler Sebring. Avenger comes in SXT and sporty R/T trim levels, each with a 173-hp 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine. Optional on the R/T is a 235-hp 3.5-liter V6. The 4-cylinder engine teams with a 4-speed automatic transmission, and the 3.5 uses a 6-speed automatic. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags, and front side airbags. Standard on the R/T are leather upholstery and heated front seats. Optional on the R/T is Chrysler's Uconnect multimedia suite, which can include a wireless cell-phone link, 30-gigabyte hard drive for storing pictures and digital music files, and a navigation system with real-time traffic information.
