The 2010 Chevrolet Traverse should see no major changes following its introduction in the 2009 model year. Traverse seats up to eight and shares its basic design with the Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook. The Chevy differs from its corporate cousins in pricing, features, and details. Three rows of seats are standard. The 2nd row includes bucket seats or a bench for a total passenger capacity of seven or eight, respectively. Power should again come from a 281-hp 3.6-liter V6 engine teamed with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The engine will make a little more power on models that have dual exhaust. Traverse is available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Expect available safety equipment to again include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags, and front side airbags. Returning are three trim levels, the entry-level LS, mid-grade LT, and top-line LTZ. Expect available features to again include DVD entertainment, rear climate control, leather upholstery, navigation system, remote engine start, satellite radio, rear obstacle detection, and a rearview camera.
