Vehicle Highlights
The 2010 Cadillac SRX is redesigned, with freshened styling, smaller dimensions, and new engines. A decrease of about 5 inches in wheelbase and overall length moves Cadillac's crossover SUV to the premium-compact SUV class from premium midsize SUV, where the 2004-2009 SRX competed. The 2010 Cadillac SRX seats five and shares some of its basic design with the Saturn Vue. It's available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Two V6 engines are available. Standard is a 260-hp 3.0-liter engine, which can run on E85 ethanol-blended fuel. Optional is a 300-hp 2.8-liter turbocharged V6. Both engines team with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity is 3500 lb. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags, and front side airbags. Available features include a navigation system with hard drive for storing digital music files, steering-linked headlights, and DVD entertainment. We have not yet tested the 2010 Cadillac SRX.
