Vehicle Highlights

The 2010 Audi A8 lineup shrinks, with the ultra-luxury W12 and sporty S8 models being discontinued. This is Audi's largest, most-expensive car. Returning are regular-length A8 and extended A8 L versions that are about 5 inches longer in wheelbase and overall length. All have a 350-hp 4.2-liter V8 that teams with a 6-speed automatic transmission. All A8 models have Audi's quattro all-wheel drive and a driver-adjustable suspension. Base and L models offer a Sport Package with a sport-tuned adaptive air suspension and steering wheel gearshift paddles. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags, and front and rear side airbags, as well as front knee airbags. Front and rear obstacle detection, keyless entry and starting, blind-spot alert, lane-departure warning, and adaptive cruise control are among the available features. Nineteen-inch wheels are newly standard on all models. Ventilated and massaging front seats are newly standard on the A8 L.
