Vehicle Highlights
The 2010 Audi A6 3.2 gets slightly more power, while other versions of this premium midsize car are largely unchanged. A6 is offered as a sedan or Avant wagon. The base car is the front-wheel-drive 3.2 sedan. It has a 265-hp 3.2-liter V6, an increase of 10 hp from 2009, and teams with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). All other A6 versions reprise Audi's quattro all-wheel drive and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 3.0T quattro is available as a sedan or wagon. It has a supercharged 300-hp 3.0-liter V6. The 4.2 quattro is a sedan with a 350-hp 4.2-liter V8. At the top of the A6 roster is the sporty S6 sedan, which has a 435-hp 5.2-liter V10. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags, and front and rear side airbags. All A6 models have Audi's MMI control that uses a console knob and switches, and a dashboard screen to adjust audio, climate, and other functions. A navigation system and keyless access and engine start are available.
