The 2009 Suzuki SX4 should see no major changes after adding a sedan model to the lineup in 2008. SX4 offers hatchback and sedan body styles. Both use a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with a standard 5-speed manual or an optional 4-speed automatic transmission. The sedan, called SX4 Sport, replaced Suzuki's Aerio sedan and comes only with front-wheel drive. The hatchback has all-wheel drive that lacks low-range gearing, but can be set for a 50/50 front/rear power split or front-drive only. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, front side airbags, and curtain side airbags. Options include automatic climate control and heated door mirrors.
