The 2009 Saturn Aura XR may not have the star power of its cousin the new Chevy Malibu, but it stikes me as a solid package and a good value in its class.

What the XR 4-cylinder lacks in genuine sport-sedan dynamics it makes up for with good fuel economy. It also provides a pleasant interior environment for passengers. With an $800 sunroof and two option packages added to this test vehicle, the sticker--with delivery--came to a not-unreasonable $25,915.
