Nissan's Murano is a nicely balanced SUV that is comfortable in a wide variety of driving situations. It can carry 4 tall adults and their weekend luggage in total comfort and, save for some occasional suspension wallow, is a relaxed highway cruiser.
Ed Piotrowski
Nissan was one of the companies that basically started the crossover SUV category. With this 2009 redesign, Nissan obviously didn't want to mess too much with the basic formula that made the original Murano a huge success. This version is certainly not as sporty as Nissan wants you to think it is. It can also get a bit pricey once you start adding options. Those demerits are countered by Murano being roomy and generally pleasant to drive. I'm personally not blown away by this crossover, but I certainly wouldn't frown upon anyone who buys one.
Jennifer Geiger
Murano's ample power, comfortable interior, and cargo versatility make it a strong competitor in this very crowded class.
Tom Appel
Murano sets itself apart from other crossovers with a dash of sportiness and a dose of luxury. Murano also boasts the single best application of a CVT transmission available. Murano gets a little pricey, but its defiant styling and fun-to-drive character add considerable value to the equation.

The redesigned Murano sees no radical changes, but plenty of incremental improvements that keep it at the forefront of its class.
Don Sikora
The new Murano is pleasant to drive, comfortable to spend time in, and easy on the eyes. Add in car-like handling and ease of entry with SUV-style utility and driving position and you get a great crossover.
Rick Cotta
As noteworthy for its cargo versatility and passenger space as for its impressive dynamic properties, the redesigned Murano remains a top contender in the hotly contested midsize "crossover" class.
