If you're looking for vast performance without vast payments, this is your car. While less refined and more noisy than others in its class, it runs with the most sporting cars in this pack. With only two seats and little cargo room, it isn't as practical as some competitors, but that likely won't matter to many sporty/performance car customers.

Even in base form and with nothing more in options than carpeted floor mats, the nimble 370Z coupe in this test was fun to drive--and would have been even more so with a more cooperative clutch--for $30,740 delivered. It is an improvement over the 350Z and a worthwhile, affordable choice for shoppers in this class to consider.
