Perhaps hoping to draw buyers' minds to some date beyond the recession, Mazda gave New Yorkers an early look at two production-ready 2010 models: The Mazdaspeed 3 and a refreshed CX-7.
2010 Mazdaspeed3
On the heels of revealing redesigned i and s models of its compact hatchbacks and sedans, Mazda gives us a look at 3's sporty Mazdaspeed sibling.

Like the Mazdaspeed3 before it, the 2010 model will be clad in racier trim, and again boast a direct-injection turbocharged 2.3-liter engine.
At 263 horsepower, output is unchanged over 2009.
The Mazdaspeed3 is due in showrooms sometime this summer.
CG Says...
The only news here would be if Mazda didn't bring this screaming little street rocket back. The styling is a little boy racer, but that's probably fine with folks shopping this category.
