The 2009 Mitsubishi Endeavor has been discontinued, but examples of 2008 models might be available on dealer's lots. Note, however, Mitsubishi officials say Endeavor will return in calendar 2009 as a 2010 model. The 2010 model probably will not be significantly different than the 2008 version. Endeavor is a midsize crossover SUV that seats five. The 2010 version should reprise LS and SE trims. Both would be available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The sole powertrain would team a 225-hp 3.8-liter V6 engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity is 3500 lb. Available safety features should include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags, and front side airbags. This report is based on evaluations of the 2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor.
