The 2009 BMW X3 is largely unchanged. This premium compact SUV comes in a single xDrive30i trim level with standard all-wheel drive. The sole engine is a 260-hp 3.0-liter 6-cylinder and is offered with either manual or automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity is 3500 lb. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, front and rear side airbags, and head-protecting tubular side airbags. An available Sport Package includes firmer suspension tuning and 18-inch wheels.
