Vehicle Highlights
The 2009 Aston Martin V8 Vantage lineup carries on with few changes after getting a larger, more powerful engine midway through the 2008 model year. Aston Martin's entry-level car comes in two-seat coupe and convertible form. Standard is a 420-hp 4.7-liter V8, which replaced a 380-hp 4.3-liter V-8 in mid 2008. Both body styles are available with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic that includes steering-wheel paddles for manual shifting. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, and front side airbags. Other available features include satellite radio, navigation system, sport suspension, and front- and rear-obstacle detection. We have not yet tested the 2009 Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
