The Lincoln MKX is worth a look for premium midsize crossover shoppers but it isn't at the head of the class.

MKX is a decent luxury crossover that's priced with heavy incentives in mind. It's not a bad deal at the $38,000 base point for an all-wheel-drive model. With pricey options, though, it becomes less of a bargain. At the $45,000 price point where the MKX can easily reach you'll find the Acura MDX and Lexus RX, both of which are more refined, with nicer interior appointments, and much better projected resale value.
Jack Stewart
MKX offers comfort and convenience at a competitive price, but option packages can drive up the price quickly.
