Auto show season is back! There are four major auto shows in the United States. The Los Angeles Auto Show, which moved time slots and now starts the ball rolling in November, is a showcase for high-end manufacturers like Aston Martin, Lotus, Ferrari, and Lamborghini.

Detroit's show follows in January. This show is jam-packed with new production and concept reveals, each automaker trying to outdo the previous. In February, it's Chicago's turn. The biggest show in square footage, and arguably the show with the largest attendance, Chicago combines Detroit's new product and LA's glitz and usually sports a few surprises of its own. The season ends in late March with the New York Auto Show. It wraps a year's worth of concept cars, production reveals, and news into one package for the media capital of the world.

Don't worry if you can't get to one of these major shows. It's a good bet that many concept and production cars revealed at these shows will travel to your local show.
