Vehicle Highlights

These compact hatchbacks share their basic design with Volkswagen's Jetta sedan. Rabbits are available in 2-dr and 4-dr body styles. The sole engine is a 150-hp 5-cyl. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard. A 6-speed automatic is optional. ABS, traction control, front side airbags, and curtain side airbags are standard. An antiskid system is optional. Rear side airbags and a sunroof are optional on 4-dr models. An optional Ground Effects Kit includes lower body cladding and dual exhaust tips.
