Entourage and by extension, Sedona, don't quite match the sophistication of the Honda Odyseey or Toyota Sienna. But they offer a lot of safety and convenience features for the money, which makes them worthy of consideration. The domestics now have yet another hurdle in their way if they want to compete in the minivan arena.

The Entourage's room, power, and price are all to the good for budget minivan buyers, but this tester was dismayed by its fuel economy and increasingly annoyed by the squeaky interior.

While domestic makers are slapping $4000 rebates on their aging minivans, Hyundai/Kia are refining the concept. There is nothing new here conceptually, but Entourage and Kia's similar Sedona offer better powertrains, higher-quality interior bits, and bargain pricing. Toss in the impressive warranty coverage, and what's not to like?
