GM's new rigs are good, very good actually. They have noticeable improvements in ride control, interior controls, and passenger accommodations. That being said, they're not quite the quantum leap over their predecessors that they should have been. These trucks still bring enough to the table to satisfy most any shopper.

I was expecting to be blown away by these new GMs, but am only impressed. There's nothing here to fault, save the anonymous styling, but this was an opportunity to break new ground. With Toyota prowling this once exclusively domestic profit center, these new trucks really should have been more than incremental improvements over the previous generation.
