Vehicle Highlights
All V8 versions of Cadillac's STS sedan have a 6-speed automatic transmission for 2007. Basically a stretched version of the CTS sedan, STS offers 254-hp V6 and 320-hp V8 models, plus a high-performance STS-V with a 469-hp supercharged V8. All use automatic transmission with manual shift gate--V6 models have a 5-speed, V8s a 6-speed; the 320-hp models had used a 5-speed. All come with rear-wheel drive, and all but the STS-V are available with all-wheel drive. STS-V has unique trim, uprated suspension and brakes, and run-flat tires. ABS and traction/antiskid control are standard. So are front side airbags, curtain side airbags, and OnStar assistance. The adaptive cruise control option includes a head-up instrument display. Also available are a load-leveling suspension, heated/cooled front seats and a touch screen navigation system with voice recognition and a wireless cell phone link. The base V8 STS is available with GM's automatic-adjusting Magnetic Ride Control shock absorbers.
