Vehicle Highlights
These V6 and V8 sedans share their basic design with Infiniti's G35 model, but are larger and costlier. M35 and M45 versions are offered. The M35 has a 280-hp V6. It comes in base and Sport models with rear-wheel drive, and as the M35x with all-wheel drive. The M45 is rear-drive only, has a 335-hp V8, and offers base and Sport models. All use a 5-speed automatic transmission with manual shift gate. ABS, traction/antiskid control, front side airbags, and curtain side airbags are standard. Exclusive to Sports is Infiniti's Rear Active Steer system, which is designed to aid handling by automatically steering the rear wheels slightly. All Ms have leather upholstery, sunroof, power tilt/telescope steering wheel, and keyless entry/ignition. Sports get aluminum cabin trim, the others wood. Also standard are a wireless cell phone link and voice control for some audio and climate functions. Options include audible warning of unintended lane departure, a heated power-reclining rear seat, and navigation system. Also available are DVD entertainment and a rearview camera. Steering-linked xenon headlamps are standard on Sport models, optional otherwise.
