If the car had multiple switches an owner would soon become familiar with their placement through use. MMI demands more steps than a switch and requires the driver to learn a new skill. With enough time and practice, I could juggle, but why should I? Same with MMI.

The A6 Avant offers all of the 3.2 quattro sedan's power and ride qualities, with a few added luxuries and the benefit of added cargo space for $2900 more to start. All in all, this is another impressive Audi.

The proof's in the puddin' and in this case that's the Audi's bloated bottom line. At $57,940 out the door, you'd be crazy to even consider this wagon over the likes of a fuel-efficient midsize SUV or say a Dodge Magnum. It's a wonderful highway car with lots of neat gadgets, but Audi's got to get a grip on the price issue, because its dealerships look like ghost towns right now.

A loaded A6 feels like a special car. The interior is gorgeous and functional, the power ample, and the ride composed. $60,000 seems high, but an E-Class costs more, and feels less sporty.
