Tipping the scales at about $59,000 the Land Cuiser is at the high-end of the large SUV market, but the added expense means more refinement and driveability, not gadgets. I long for a few more MPG though.

Land Cruiser lacks some of the luxury geegaws now associated with this class (massive power, power liftgate, nuclear vibrating seats, etc.) but cleans up in quality and refinement. You get less stuff than in an Escalade, but the stuff is nicer.
