Vehicle Highlights
This slow-selling midsize car drops wagons for a brief 2005 farewell. L300 sedans, unchanged except for fewer options, are due to end production by early calendar 2005. L300 features doors, front fenders, and bumper fascias made of Saturn's dent- and rust-resistant polymer plastic; other body parts are steel. The sole powertrain comprises a 182-hp V6 and 4-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety equipment includes antilock 4-wheel disc brakes, traction control, and head-protecting curtain side airbags. Also standard are split folding rear seatback, 16-inch wheels, and heated power mirrors. A shortened options slate includes sunroof, power driver seat, and chrome alloy wheels. Deleted as options are heated front seats, leather upholstery, rear DVD entertainment, and GM OnStar assistance.
