Vehicle Highlights
Hyundai's sporty hatchback coupe gets a minor facelift and reshuffled models for 2005. The lineup now includes GS, GT, and SE models. GS has a 2.0-liter 4-cyl engine. GT and SE have a 2.7-liter V6. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard, a 4-speed automatic with manual shift gate is optional on GS and GT. A 6-speed manual is exclusive to the SE. Standard for GS are 16-inch wheels vs. 17s on GT and SE. All have standard 4-wheel disc brakes and front side airbags. ABS is standard on SE, optional for GT. Traction control is unavailable. The GT offers optional leather upholstery. Hyundai's warranty is among the industry's longest: 5-years/60,000-mi. bumper-to-bumper, 10/100,000 powertrain.
