F-250 is a fine heavy-duty pickup. King Ranch is a terrible waste of money. I know that people buying this truck don't have to consult their financial analyst before getting out the check book, but I see no reason to a) limit seating capacity to four and b) glitz up a pickup so much that you wouldn't want to use it to haul cargo. I really like the F-250 and the V10 for its hauling ability, but have to give a thumbs down to the King Ranch edition.

The King Ranch F-250 is oddly unconvincing compared to F-150 versions we've seen. King Ranch upgrades seem limited to seating surfaces, and are at odds with heavy-duty grade plastics that remain. Still, the core F-250 remains, and it is a stout and willing piece. Despite its mass, the V10 doesn't move this big Ford with any snap, so consider popping for the diesel if hauling is your primary goal.
