You gotta love the sheer lunacy of this vehicle.
John Biel
The SRT-10 is a show horse that will make a great collector's item some day thanks to its audacious looks and powertrain. But unless you're a regular at the local dragstrip, you'll never get close to making the best use of its power, and the regular-cab model tested here isn't recommended as a tow vehicle, so it loses some of its effectiveness as a pickup. It is a mighty bauble, but a bauble just the same.
Tom Appel
Once the thrill of harnessing 500 hp wears off (about 12 minutes), you realize you're driving a regular-cab Ram rendered nearly useless by a bunch of go-fast bolt-ons that do little to make driving fun. The only value here is getting the overrated Viper engine in a vehicle half the price of a Viper.
