Maxx is comfortable, competent, and affordably priced. There are few flaws like cheap interior fittings and the lack of a 5-speed automatic. Overall, it is an excellent choice for a small- to medium-sized family. With a lower price-point for 2006, should be even more attractive.
Rick Cotta
Maxx is the star of the Malibu line, offering rear seat space and cargo versatility virtually unrivaled in the midsize class. Refinement falls short of Accord and Camry, but so do prices, and there's little to fault here.
