STS proves that the domestic manufacturers can compete with the best Europe has to offer. It is a dynamic sedan that is at home in the daily commute, getting groceries, and on twisty roads. Interior materials aren't perfect, but just about everything else is. Cadillac continues to impress.

As per stated, though does STS impress with its dynamic qualities? V8 performance is impressive, but the rest of the picture is pretty ordinary--and overpriced.

My overall impression is that this should have been the next-generation CTS--at a carryover price. As is, it's ridiculously expensive for what you get, especially when compared to its CTS sibling.
