2005-2008:
2006 Jetta sedans and wagons:
A brake light switch may malfunction if it was installed incorrectly. The brake lights could become inoperative, or remain on. Dealers will install the newly designed brake light switch free of charge.
2006 Jettas w/2.5-liter gas engines:
These vehicles may have a small plastic tab located on the windshield washer fluid reservoir that may chafe against the underhood fuel supply line. If this happens, the chafing has the potential to cause a fuel leak over time. Dealers will inspect and replace affected parts.
